The first batch of exchange nursing students of CQMU finished their study satisfactorily in MSU-CON in America and came back to CQMU on August 3, 2008.
The students received a warm welcome from the teachers and students in MSU-CON. Marry, Dean of MSU-CON and Teresa, Associate Dean of MSU-CON met with them warmly. They visited the teaching center of MSU-CON in the company of Teresa and admired the rich resources and advanced teaching level there. They also visited community hospitals, nursing homes, hospice care hospitals and general hospitals, as well as the city council and Lake Michigan.
During these two weeks, they deeply felt the sincerity and hospitality of the local people, as well as the study atmosphere and exploring enthusiasm in MSU. They not only acquainted themselves with the system of medical care, nursing, and medical insurance in USA, but also experienced the comfortable medical environment there.
In the visit the students realized the gap between the two countries in medical care. They were determined to study hard and contribute to the reform of nursing in China.
Two nursing teachers who went with them to MSU-CON would continue their three-month study there.
