Summary Conference of Sudirman Cup Voluntary Service Held in SCAU

On the morning of September 26, the Summary Conference of Sudirman Cup Voluntary Service was held in HuashanCenter for Student Activities. Guan Weizheng, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Sports Bureau, Deputy Secretary of Sudirman Cup Organizing Committee; Lin Yanfen, member of Sudirman Cup Organizing Committee; Liu Zhijun, Secretary of Youth League Committee of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies; Hu Haomin, Vice CPC Secretary of SouthChinaAgriculturalUniversity and some other representatives of Youth League Committee attended this conference.

After reviewing this year s Sudirman Voluntary work, Ms. Lin Yanfen declared the commending decision for Sudirman Cup Outstanding Volunteers and issued certificates for the representatives. Ms. Guan, who represented the organizing committee, presented the commemorative plaques to SCAU and GDUFS. She also said that the volunteers from these two universities really did a good job.

Mr. Hu Haomin made a speech and expressed his appreciation for the support of Guangzhou Sports Bureau and the Sudirman Cup Organizing Committee. He was pleased with the outstanding service of volunteers from SCAU. He believed that the voluntary activities could help enhance the overall ability of students and encouraged more of them to get involved. He expected the volunteers to provide better service work in next year s Asian Games.
