On July the 19th, delegation of National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech) visited our university. The delegation, consisting of 30 members, was headed by Qiu Shangjia, the vice president of YunTech. Zhang Jianxiang, SNU s vice president warmly received them at Qixiayuan and on behalf of SNU he signed a memorandum of academic cooperation with YunTech.
National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, founded in 1987, is located in Douliou Yunlin, central Taiwan. It is a technological and professional institution and has four colleges, Engineering, Management, Design and Humanities& Applied Sciences. YunTech makes a distinctive contribution on providing eligible technological personnel by combining technology with humanities. During their stay, the delegation made an investigation of Xi an s history and culture and exchanged views on academic communication and cooperation with our university.(trans. Fang Wenjun)
