Academic Seminar on Organic Solid Electronic Process Held in SNNU

The 8^th NationalAcademic Seminar on Organic Solid Electronic Process was solemnly opened on June 14^th, 2010 in the lecture hall Jixuetang at Yanta Campus of SNNU. It was consigned by the Chinese Chemical Society, sponsored by the State Natural Science Funds Commission, organized by the Chinese Chemical Society Organic Solid Committee, and hosted jointly by Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Science and our school. There were totally more than 300 experts and scholars attending the seminar, including those from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, America, Germany, and Singapore, etc. Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, including Zhudaoben, Caoyong, Youjiaoceng, Tangbenzhong, Jianglei were invited. Moreover, Liming, Vice Director of Materials Science of State Natural Science Funds Commission, Fangyu, President of SNNU and other leaders were present at the seminar.

There were totally 341 thesis abstracts included in the academic seminar, 30 of which were invited lectures, 42 were oral reports and others were exhibitions. The seminar involved the basic and applied research on organic/polymer light, electricity and magnetism functional material. These research results will play a positive role in promoting the development of the study on organic solid and the talent cultivation in our country. (Trans: Zhang Jiyuan)
