From December 11th 2007 to 20th, SNNU s delegation headed by Jiang Xiule, secretary of the Party committee, made a series of visits to Thailand Higher Education Committee, University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, Chulalongkorn University, Burapha University, National University of Singapore and Singapore National Institute of Education as a reply to the invitations of Thailand Higher Education Committee and those two universities of Singapore. The visits have strengthened SNU s communication and cooperation with universities of Thailand and Singapore.
It is the first time for SNU to pay official visits to the abovementioned universities and educational institutions. After these visits, we have known more about the national conditions and educations of those two Asian countries. More cooperative means and communicative fields were also explored. What s more, we have reached a substantial agreement on further communication plans with Thailand Higher Education Committee, Burapha University and Singapore National Institute of Education. (trans.
