A delegation of 17 teachers and students from Australian University of West Sydney visited HUST on Jan 10 for exchanges.
The delegates from UWS introduced Australian medical system, health science and nursing situation and status quo of the university. UWS boasts the largest nursing education school in the southern hemisphere.
HUST Department of Nursing has established ties with UWS since 2003 and reached cooperative agreement with UWS School of Nursing in 2004. Since then, mutual exchanges between the two sides have been in progress.
This time the UWS delegates divided into two groups will have a two-week study program in the Union and Tongji hospital respectively, and they will visit hospitals in Wuhan communities and countryside.
