A delegation from the oil and gas office, M2M (Methane to Markets) of USEPS (United States Environmental Protection Agency) and Environment, Technology and Energy Economics Office of RTI (Research Triangle Institute, North Carolina State) visited CUP recently. CUP exchanged views with the 2 American institutes on methane emissions reduction and talent education and agreed to deepen the collaboration on the existing basis.
The counterparts came into agreement that CUP would hold the 2nd International Workshop on Methane Emissions Reduction Technologies in the Oil and Natural Gas Industry in 2011. Moreover, the 2 American institutions would provide technological support on the courses related to environmental protection for CUP students by classroom instruction and field training, and would invite famous experts in methane emissions reduction field to deliver lectures and conduct technological communication in CUP.
