Prof. Zha Ming, vice president of CUP, met with Mr. Philippe Ungerer, the scientific director of IFP (Institute of France Petroleum) on October 27, 2008. The counterparts discussed the issues on scientific R&D, exchange of experts, talents education, and laboratory construction and so on.
Prof. Zha Ming introduced the development of CUP to his counterpart. He is confident of the cooperation on science, exchange of experts and talents education between CUP and IFP.
Mr. Ungerer said, as an applied research institute, IFP intended to build up an equal and mutual beneficial relationship with CUP on experts exchange, scientific R&D, talents education, information and so on.
The counterparts agreed to push forward a talk between leaders of CUP and IFP to come realize the cooperation.
