An inspection team from State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) reexamined the qualification of CUP as a firstlevel work safety training institution on August 16th. The inspection team regards the reexamination index as excellence and agrees that CUP is preserved to be the firstlevel work safety training institution.
CUP pays much attention to work safety by promoting on-the-job training of safety engineering, fostering all-round talents in work safety fields, and developing on-the-job training of national security in foreign affairs. CUP was designated as a firstlevel work safety training institution by SAWS in December 2005. Moreover, CUP owns several work safety research and assessment institutions, such as Oil and Gas Safety Engineering Center and so on.
According to the Criterion of Firstlevel Work Safety Training Institutions, SAWS organizes 6 inspection teams and reexamines 91 national first and second level training institutions all over China to enhance the supervision on these institutions and to upgrade the training quality and administrative skills of the institutions.
