The three artists boast different style: Huang Side is skilled in ancient Chinese characters especially in 1.inscriptions on ancient bronze objects; Cao Yuansheng is accomplished in the traditional Chinese copybook; and Zhang Jianrui has created the works which can not be read but played through unique Guqin musical notations. The exhibits comprise a wide range of categories from seal characters and inscriptions on bones or tortoise shells to official scripts and cursive scripts.
Poyang is capital of Raozhou in the ancient time, where a number of calligraphers traveled including Yan zhenqing, Fan Zhongyan, Huang Tingjian, Jiang Baishi and Zhao Zhiqian.
