JW Marriott opens tallest Marriott in Indianapolis

JW Marriott has opened its tallest project, the JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown.

The 375-feet hotel cost up to US$450-million to construct. Scott Blalock, general manager, JW Marriott Indianapolis, was quoted in eTravel Blackboard as having said that the new hotel is truly the crown jewel of the Marriott Place development and, with the variety and flexibility of meeting and event space that it offers, as well as accommodations at various price points, it can suit almost everybody s needs. The new hotel features 1,005-guest rooms, 54-meeting rooms, 104,000-square feet of event space, as well as the largest hotel ballroom in the Midwest.

The JW Marriott Indianapolis Downtown, together with the Indiana Convention Centre, Lucas Oil Stadium and new International Airport, are expected to make Indianapolis an attractive destination for meeting and event planners.
