Air Seychelles had an all-ladies crew operating its B767-300 from Paris to Mahe yesterday, saluting International Women s Day.
The flight was widely covered by the French media and the crew received a special reception at Mahe airport on landing, as reported by eTurboNews. The aircraft was flown by Captain Nicole Chang-Leng, Air Seychelles first female pilot and now a senior captain with the airline.
The airline currently employs 463 female staff and 429 male staff. More ladies are taking up senior positions in flight as well as ground operations.
