The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has appointed Maunu von Lueders as regional vice president for the Asia-Pacific, based out of Singapore.
Von Lueders began his career with Finnair, and has also served as CEO of two international carriers, namely, JetLite in India and Nordic Airlink/FlyNordic in Sweden. Further, he has served a tenure as vice president, sales, with the oneworld global alliance.
Asia-Pacific is the world s largest aviation market. Its 26% share of travel will grow to 30% by 2014, when one billion passengers are expected to travel within the region.
