Warner Brothers have unveiled plans to open Warner Bros. Studio Tour The Making of Harry Potter at their Hertfordshire-based studio next spring.
The new tour will give tourists the chance to walk around the set, see the props and have a behind-the-scenes look at the movie franchise. Dan Dark, vice president and managing director, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, was quoted in Travel Daily UK as having said that while the Harry Potter film franchise will reach its highly anticipated conclusion this summer, its incredible filmmaking story and its relationship with Leavesden is set to live on. The studio expects 5,000 tourists to visit the back-lot tour every day. Admission fee is still unknown but tickets for the new tourist attraction will only be sold through tour operators and the website. There will be no on-site ticket sales.
Warner Bros. also expects other Leavesden-filmed productions to be launched as tours, as it is home to big-budget films such as The Dark Knight, Inception and Sherlock Holmes.
