Tourism Ireland expects US president Barack Obama and Britain s Queen Elizabeth s visit in May to yield a boost in tourism in Ireland.
According to a report in eTurbo News, the tourism body will be working closely with the international media to showcase Irish scenery and a warm welcome to the millions of people who will follow the visit. President Obama has announced that the purpose for his visit to Ireland in May is to trace his family roots in Moneygall Co, Offaly. Niall Gibbons, chief executive, Tourism Ireland, has reason to believe that the joint visit in May will give Irish tourism a much needed boost.
