The appointment ceremony/academic report was held in the Environment and Resource Institute on November 15th 2010. Dr. Chen Chu, from the Health Science Center of the State University of Louisiana, USA was appointed visiting professor.
This honor was conferred by Zhao Huaizhou, the university Discipline Inspector, and he awarded Dr. Chen with the Letter of Appointment. He warmly welcomed Dr. Chen into our university for academic exchange and scientific research. He hoped that through cooperation we could strengthen communication, and build a platform to promote mutual development of related disciplines, scientific research development, and international exchanges.
After the ceremony, Dr. Chen Chu made a thematic academic report in English, entitled COX-2 Signaling in Synaptic Plasticity and Neuroinflamation. The forefront ideas and rigorous logic of the report impressed all those present.
