Everywhere in SCUT is filled with new green in March and spring is very much in the air. On March 20, SCUT Party committees carried out a tree-planting activity on the north and south campus. More than 100 party members took part in this activity and hundreds of elaeocarpus decipiens were planted, adding a fresh green to the campus. School leaders WANG Yingjun, LV Tingxiu, DU Xiaoming participated in the activity.
It is reported that the annual voluntary tree-planting activity began in 2005 and this is the fifth year. The activity is warmly responded by teachers and students. Many of the early planted seedlings have now grown to strong trees, decorating our vibrant and beautiful campus.
