The first industrialization project of agricultural science and technology achievements directed by SCUT passes evaluation

On the morning of Mar. 19, the evaluation conference of "the industrialization technique of waterproof starch-based biodegradable materials" which was SCUT's first industrialization project of agricultural science and technology achievements under the leadership of State Ministry of Science and Technology was held at Liwu Building of Science and Technology. The conference was presided by Department of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education. SCUT Vice President LI Lin attended the conference and made a concluding report to the evaluation experts on behalf of the project group.

After visiting the workshop of SCUT's recyclable resource macromolecule research centre, the evaluation experts reached a consensus that the industrialization project has satisfied the main technical and economic criteria in the assignment book and that the contract was completed successfully with an ultimate industrialization of technological achievements. They commented that the project had great industrial value and bright application prospects. Therefore the project passed the evaluation successfully.
