On January 24, a contract of 12 diesel locomotive for Cuba signed in Cuba Embassy.
The consulter of The Ministry of Communication of Cuba Luis Martinez Menocal held the ceremony. The president of Import & Export Corp., Ltd. of The Ministry of Communication of Cuba Jose Antonio Arias Garcia, CNR vice-president Zhao Guangxing, president of Import & Export Corp., Ltd. of China Home Appliance Wang Suiqing and president of CNR Beijing February 7th Locomotive Works Wang Dongming signed the contract. The ambassador of Cuba Embassy, director of the department of American and Oceanian Affairs of The Ministry of Commerce of China and vice-president of LORIC Import & Export Corp., Ltd. presented the ceremony.
In 2004, the delegations of The Ministry of Communication of Cuba had visited twice CNR subsidiaries including CNR Beijing February 7th Locomotive Works and signed the cooperation memorandum with CNR. In January 2005, the delegation of The Ministry of Communication of Cuba visited CNR again and communicated with CNR Beijing February 7th Locomotive Works for technology of Type DF7G C diesel-electric locomotive. They are satisfied with the quality of CNR s products.
