Shanghai quality association convenes the 4th assembly of its 5th council namely general assembly, issuing 2010 Shanghai Quality & Technology Awards. 11 Awards of first, second and third prizes were declared, of which Baosteel gets 6.
Among the 6 projects, The project of "the hot galvanizing line plate shape control technology" gets the first prize. The project of "The study of improvement of cold-rolled high quality of appliance plate shape" wins the second prize. 4 other projects including Meigang s "Development and Application for sulfuric acid dew point resistant steel BNS440" gain the third prizes.
The setup of Quality & Technology Awards is meant to promote the quality and technology, to improve the enterprise management level, to mobilize the positivity and creativity of quality controlling personnel and award teams and individuals, who make great contribution in quality and technology area.
