Developed by Special Steel Business Unit, the ultra (ultra) supercritical boiler heat-resistant austenitic seamless steel tube passed technical review organized by China Standardization Committee on Boilers and Pressure Vessels(CSCBPV). Expert review group agreed that: the tube's production technique and material properties reached the international advanced level.
It could be used to make ultra (ultra) supercritical boiler superheater and reheater and pressure components with similar situations and it can be put to mass production. Ultra (ultra) supercritical power generating set is the focus of china's electric power development in the next 20 years. The localization of power plant units' key materials is directly related to the national energy strategy.
To meet the needs of the domestic power industry, Special Steel Business Unit concentrates on research and development of heat resistant austenitic seamless steel pipe for ultra (ultra) supercritical pressure boiler. At present, the production process has been formed and S31042 heat resistant austenitic seamless steel pipe sample has been made.
Upon examination, the performance indicators are in full compliance with GB5310-2008 standards and ASMESA-213M high-pressure boiler tube requirements. Baosteel S31042 steel pipe's conventional, long lasting and high temperature performances are similar with imported products.
It is known that the expert review group is composed by the China Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, CSCBPV, Xi'an Thermal Power Research Institute, Shanghai Power Equipment Research Institute, Harbin Boiler Factory and Shanghai Boiler Factory.
