The signing ceremony for the contract of limestone belt conveying line of Port of Fujairah was signed in Shanghai Company of MCC Chenggong Construction Co., Ltd. (5MCC) on August 10, 2009. The Port of Fujairah is located in the Emirate of Fujairah in United Arab Emirates (UAE).
As the largest deep-water port of UAE, Port of Fujairah undertakes the most part of port transshipment business of the country. Quite a lot of European and Indian companies are striving to explore businesses in this port area, therefore the competition is stiff.
Under the leadership of Shanghai Company and its international subsidiary, after painstaking efforts during the past 4 months, the marketing people in Dubai Branch has conquered various difficulties and finally defeated five competitors. As a result, 5MCC was awarded with an EPC Contract for the limestone belt conveying line of Port of Fujairah, which stretches 4.5 km in length. The project scope covers steel structure, mechanical equipment, electric engineering and commissioning works. According to the implementation schedule, the project is to be completed and put into operation in the mid of April 2010.
5MCC will spare no efforts for meticulous organization and planning for the project implementation, so as to complete the works on a high quality basis. And this will surly pave the way for contracting of the other follow-up projects of the port in the future.
