On October 23, 2009, Daye Nonferrous Metal Company of Hubei Province announced that, WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd. (WISDRI) and Wuhan Yousheng Gases Co., Ltd. were jointly awarded with the contract for the Oxygen Generation Project (28000Nm3/h). This works was a supporting facility for Anode Copper Project (with an annual output of 300,000 tons) of Daye Nonferrous Metal Company. In order to reduce the investment and operating costs, Daye Company decided to introduce specialized firms to undertake the Oxygen Generation Project in a BOO (Build-Own-Operate) manner.
This is also the very first BOO project contracted by WISDRI, making its first step taken for: (i) implementation of 2nd-Five-Year Plan of MCC Group; (ii) active exploration of non-steel-business market; and (iii)steady promotion on expanding of business scope from sole engineering construction service to an overall service mode (covering engineering construction, investment and operation). And this works will lay a consolidated foundation for WISDRI to boom up its operation business basing upon BOO mode.
