Five World Top 500 Enterprises Established in Changsha EDZ During 2010

At the 2010 Supervisor Symposium on Optimizing Development Environment in Changsha EDZ (Economic Development Zone) held recently, Yang Yiwen, secretary of the CPC Changsha County Committee said that supervisors are encouraged to put forward more critical opinions and corrective recommendations for evaluating the development environment in Changsha EDZ. The volunteer inspectors raised some good suggestions and advice for improving work and enhancing service efficiency.

Since this March, relevant municipal and provincial departments have offered 85 pieces of suggestions in response to such 9 issues as investment environment in the zone, and convened assigning meeting of optimizing economic development environment on 2 occasions.

Up to the end of this November, the industrial output value and industrial & commercial tax of the zone have reached 82.6 billion yuan and 4.64 billion yuan, up 40.9% and 44.6% respectively over the same period last year. With the introduction of 5 World Top 500 enterprises this year, the annual industrial output value is anticipated to hit 90 billion yuan, and the taxation 5 billion yuan.
