"Filial Piety" Concert by Singer Liu Yizhen Held in Hunan University

Liu Yizhen's concert was staged in Changsha on the evening of December 29.

The Filial Piety Concert presented by Liu Yizhen, a young singer of Hunan origin, was staged in the gymnasium of Hunan University on the evening of December 29. Present at the concert are Director of Hunan Publicity Department Lu Jianping, Vice Governor Guo Kailang, Deputy Director of the organizing committee of National Educational Activity of Loving, Respecting and Helping the Elderly Bai Hua and Vice Commissar of Hunan Provincial Military Command Wei Yongjing.

The concert will be on tour in ten colleges and universities. The first concert has been successfully held in Beijing University on October 29.

The concert revolves around the themes of "filial piety" and "following the Party forever", integrating with Hunan Culture and elements. Commenced with the song of Lullaby, Liu sang many a songs familiar to the audience including Listen to the Old Stories Told by Mom, My Fellow Countrymen and Liuyang River. Li Guyi and other well-known singers also gave their performances on the stage. And some people also shared their own stories concerning filial piety at the concert.
