Yesterday, at Dalian World Expo Plaza, Mayor Li Wancai met with Vice Minister Chong Quan of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and Vice Chairman Chen Shujin of China Textile Industry Association, who were in Dalian for the two festivals and a carnival . Through years of cultivation and development, CIGF has already become an influential fashion exhibition of Northeast Asia. With Fashion Romance as the theme, CIGF 2010 will function as an important platform for bringing overseas fashion brands into the Chinese market, a window for releasing fashion creativity and fashion trends, a promotion and incubation base for domestic brands and an effective vehicle for the development of the local clothing industry, striving to create an important platform for presenting the charm of fashion and promoting commercial exchanges and cooperation. With CIGF as an opportunity, we will increase close exchanges with famous brands and enterprises in fashion R & D and production, shaping an overall image of the Dalian garment & textile industry and improving our international competitiveness.
Chong Quan and Chen Shujin affirmed respectively the achievements of the preparatory work for CIGF 2010 and wish success for the two festivals and a carnival . They expect that Dalian will culminate its success of the previous sessions in order for CIGF to create an important brand of the Northeast.
