Monday, October 11, 2010. The School of International Education and Exchange sent teachers and staff to attend a forum on Innovation in Education. The event was organized by The Financial Times in partnership with the UK Programme of Events, Shanghai World Expo 2010, and sponsored by Pearson Education.

The half-day conference explored the latest innovations in the delivery of learning and knowledge, inside and outside the classroom, and how the increased use of technology has enhanced the delivery of content, changing the education methods and the role of the teacher.

It also looked at the enormous investment opportunities being generated in the Chinese education market, which has become a major target for private equity and venture capital.

Some of the leading experts in both education technology and investment were invited to give presentations and join on panel discussions to talk about these and many other issues.
