March 15th, 2011. Professor Pu Yuzhong, President of Changzhou University (CCZU), chaired a meeting on anti-corruption, which was attended by all of the university leaders, office directors, deans and CPC party secretaries of faculties.
Professor Wang Kaiquan, Vice Party Secretary of CCZU, conveyed the gist of the remarks by Hu Jingtao, President of PRC, and He Guoqiang, Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and also the remarks from provincial and municipal anti-corruption meetings. Professor Wang made arrangements for the anti-graft campaign at CCZU and all school leaders promised to honor their anti-corruption commitments.
Professor Shi Guodong, Party Secretary of CPC CCZU Committee, noted four points on the implementation of anti-corruption campaign. First, we should carefully study and implement President Hu Jintao's speech on anti-corruption; second, we must hold a down-to-earth attitude; third, school leaders should play an exemplary role; finally, we must set up an atmosphere of integrity on the school campus. Finally he called on school leaders to make due contributions to the development of CCZU.

Professor Pu Yuzhong, President of CCZU, stressed three points in order to step up the anti-graft efforts. First, we should have full awareness of the grave situation; second, we should shoulder due responsibilities; third, we should do more rather than talk too much. He emphasized that as this year is the beginning of the 12th five-year plan, we should improve the regulations on party members and push forward the construction of anti-corruption procedures, with confidence, determination, forceful measures and a solid working style.
