At present, the National Natural Science Foundation announced that as many as 167 of Youth Fund has been approved, as well as 235 of NNSF general projects, 8 key projects, 4 items of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 1 special instrument item, 1 International Cooperation and Exchanges Project, 1 Joint Fund, 1 Joint Research Fund for Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong and Macao Young Scholars, and 4 major research projects.
All together 422 items have been approved, with the grant of 146.839 million RMB, ranking the sixth all around the country. There are 48 projects and 17 million RMB more than the year of 2009, reaching a new high in history.
Among these awards, the Youth Fund ranked in the third place, which fully reflects the training of young talents at HUST has achieved good results.
