TU Bergakademie Freiberg Delegation Visited HUST

From Nov.19th to 23rd, a delegation from Technische Universit t Bergakademie Freiberg headed by Professor Piotr R. Scheller, dean of the College of Material Science and Engineering and director of the Institution of Iron & Steel Technology, paid a visit to HUST and Wuhan Iron & Steel Corporation WISCO at the invitatioin of the HUST-WISCO Joint Laboratory.

Lin Pinghua, executive vice president of HUST, and Fu Lianchun, chief engineer of WISCO, met the German delegation respectively.

During the visit to HUST, Professor Scheller addressed an academic report on "Steel material development and process control in ladle metallurgy". The report was appreciated by experts from WISCO and scholars from relevant research fields, such as the College of Materials Science and Engineering, the School of Civil Engineering and Mechanics, the School of Navel Archethecture and Ocean Engineering, thinking that it was informative and interesting, and brought down the house.

Prof.Scheller also visited Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center, State Key Laboratory of Materials Processing and Die & Mould Technology.
