On Nov 2nd , the third China-Russia Laser Technology Industry Forum was held in Wuhan Science and Technology Exhibition Center. Over 120 professors and technical staff including Mr. Ivan, president of Russian Laser Association, and Professor Zhu Xiao, director of HUST National Engineering Research Center for Laser Processing NERC-LP attended the forum.
During the forum, experts from 10 Russian institutes, such as POLYUS R&D Polar Research Institute, respectively delivered their latest research reports on ''semiconductor-pumped solid laser'', "CO2 laser optical components'', "remote laser radar monitoring'', "coherent synthesis of optical fiber laser'' and ''laser processing applications and testing technology''. They also introduced the situation of Russian laser physics and laser industry. Besides, the Russian optical pavilion, academic reports and their special promotion caught professionals' great attention.
In addition, Mr. Ivan and Professor Zhu Xiao renewed the Agreement on China- Russia Laser Exchanges & Cooperation.
