Hu Keqin visits alma mater

From 21st to 23rd Feb, president of Overseas Alumni Association of Tongji Medical school Professor Hu Keqin and the secretary Researcher Lai Zhiwei visited their alma mater HUST.

Chair of HUST board Lu Gang, president Li Peigen and executive chair of HUST board & dean of Tongji Medical School Feng Youmei respectively had a meeting with them.

HUST leaders spoke highly of what Tongji overseas alumna achieved in their career and appreciated the great support to the development of HUST and medical school from the association. Besides, they also hoped that alumni would continue to support the construction and development of their alma mater.

Hu Keqin whose supervisor was the famous infectious disease expert, Professor Hao Lianjie, was an undergraduate of year 1982 and postgraduate of year 1985 at medical school. He went to the U.S. to go on further study in 1988.

Lai Zhiwei graduated from the former Tongji Medical University, and he ever worked as the vice dean of environmental toxicology staff room of Public Health School in the former Tongji Medical University.
