Visit by Professor James Piper

On November 5, Professor James Piper, the Vice President of Macquarie University and his colleagues visited the School of Information Science and Engineering of SDU. Prof. Piper delivered lectures to teachers and students of the school.

Professor Piper elaborated on recent development they have achieved in the field of Raman lasers. Introducing the latest achievement of the research team led by Professor Piper, Dr.Andrew Lee explained the realization, characteristics, materials and application of Raman Lasers. During the stay, Professor Piper communicated with Professor Zhang Xingyu, Associate Dean of the School, and the teachers and students from the Key Laboratory for Laser Technologies and Applications.
