President of Troy University Visited Shandong University at Weihai

Fr On November 8th and 9th, Dr. Jack Hawkins, Chancellor of Troy University, visited Shandong University at Weihai, together with Dr. Ed Roach, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, Dr. Earl Ingram, the Vice Chancellor for International Affairs, and Curtis Porter, Dean for International Programs. Prof. Han Shenghao, President of SDU at Weihai, met with the guests.

After the meeting, President Han and President Hawkins signed a Cooperation Agreement on the Program of 2+2 Double Bachelor s Degrees . At the same time discussions were held on student exchanges, communication among teachers, and further in-depth cooperation between the two universities. According to the agreement, junior and senior students of SDU can go to study in Troy University and a bachelor degree will be conferred by the two universities after their study. Prof. Chen Guanjun, Vice President of SDU at Weihai was also present at the meeting.

The cooperation between SDU at Weihai and Troy University started in 2006 when the Program of 1+2+1 Double Bachelor s Degrees was begun.
