NAU Awarded Prizes for Important Scientific Research Achievements

NAU got seventeen awards from Jiangsu Science and Technology Awarding Conference for its achievements in science and technology in the year of 2009.

Six professors from various colleges won the awards of Outstanding Achievements for Scientific Research in Universities (Ministry of Education) and other six professors were awarded multifarious prizes for their respective achievement in related field. Besides, Professor Zhou Guanghong, who chaired Technical Innovation and Application of Quality Safety of Frozen Pork , won a special award in National Commercial Prize for Progress in Science and Technology. Professor Shen Qirong was awarded a golden prize for his patent of organic fertilizer (Patent Number: ZL200510122898.0).

These awards reflects the constant increase in NAU's innovation ability since the launch of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, accelerates the speed NAU transfers to a research university, and helps to lay the groundwork for further significant scientific research achievements.
