Australian New South Wales Officials Visited Jiangnan University

On May 30th, a 3-member delegation from New South Wales of Australia paid a visit to Jiangnan University. The delegation consists of George Davey, Deputy Director-General of Primary Industries of New South Wales, Dr. Zeng Lingwen, the Managing Director of Changzhou OK Freshcare Technology Co., Ltd., etc. Vice-President Wang Wu of Jiangnan University warmly received the guests and introduced basic conditions of the University as well as the national and international leading position and promising prospects of the food science and technology of Jiangnan University. Relative leaders of School of Food Science and Technology also participated in the talks and probed deeply into professional fields with the guests. Subsequently, the delegation visited the State Key Laboratory, the Technology Hall and the Food Security Platform of School of Food Science and Technology, and had discussions with teachers of School of Food Science and Technology. Deputy Director-GeneralGeorge Davey stated that the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan University impressed them deeply, and the long history as well as the leadership of the key subjects of this university struck them with admiration and they expected further exchanges and cooperation with Jiangnan University.
