Chongqing University welcomes visitors from the University of Alberta

Headed by Dr. Carl Amrhein, Provost and Vice President, a delegation of the University of Alberta, Canada, paid a visit to Chongqing University on 11 June, 2010.
The Alberta group includes Mr. Gordon Houlden, Director of China Institute, Ms. Monica Barclay, Assistant Director of China Institute, Dr. Edy Wong, Associate Dean, School of Business and Dr. Cen Huang, Director of International Relations and Recruitment.

Prof. Bai Chenguang, the vice president of CQU has met with Alberta guests and carried out a discussion on cooperation between the two institutions, accompanied by the International Office staff.


Based on the exsiting program of student mobility, the participants explored more potential coolaborative possibilities in the near future which inlcude staff exchange and training, joint degree programs, etc. Both sides agree that there should be more professors and fields involved. They also express the willingness of taking efforts to make it happen as expected.
