In the early 1990s, a number of artists including Wu Zuoren suffered from the restriction of the space for creation. In order to overcome such realistic difficulty, the Nine-Dragon-Mountain Artistic Research Center was founded as a perfect workplace for the artists. Over the past 15 years, the artists have been devoted to artistic creation and an influential artistic salon has been established in the suburbs of Beijing, creating win-win profits for the artists and the center in both the academic research and economic interest.
