A number of countries have issued travel advisories to their citizens following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
According to a report in Airwise.com, as earlier reported by Reuters, the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, Korea (ROK), Croatia, Slovakia, and Slovenia have advised their citizens to avoid non-essential travel to Japan, particularly to affected areas such as Tokyo, Yokohama, Fukushima and other parts in the north of the country. Those foreign nationals who cannot postpone their travel or who are already in Japan have been advised to exercise utmost caution and check the conditions of areas where they are travelling to.
