Greek tourism operators foresee a spike in demand in 2011 as travellers look at other options, given the tensions in North Africa and the Middle East.
According to AFP, recent data from key European target markets shows family travel in particular, moving away from strife-torn North Africa and the Middle East, as reported in eTravel Blackboard Asia. As popular destinations such as Turkey and Spain get fully booked, travellers look to other destinations that have availability.
