On 26 September 2005, the contract of supply of 6 diesel locomotive for Angola was signed in Shanghai . The manufacturer is CNR Beijing February 7th Locomotive Works.
There are two kinds of locomotive. One is four 1,500kW loco. The other is two 1,678kW loco. They will be used as not only shunter in construction site but also main force on main line. They adopt electric transmission. The track gauge is 1,067mm . The design speed is 90km/h . Deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2006.
