The Opening Ceremony for Tangshan Fengnan Cold-rolling Galvanizing Co., Ltd. and the Commissioning Ceremony for its Cold-rolling Galvanizing Works were held in the Industrial Park of Fengnan District on August 19, 2009. Vice Mayor Xin Zhichun of Tangshan Municipal Government, Party Secretary Liu Jianli of Fengnan District, leaders of all the relevant contractors and clients were present at the event. General Manager Zhang Jiande of Tangshan Fengnan Cold-rolling Galvanizing Co., Ltd. addressed at the ceremony. On behalf of the EPC Contractor, Chairman & Party Secretary Xiao Xuewen of CISDI Engineering Co., Ltd.(CISDI) attended the ceremony and delivered a speech.
As the EPC Contractor, CISDI was responsible for all the technical matters, as well as the design and supply of all the equipment, EIC (electric, instrumentation and computer) system and hydraulic pressure system. Therefore this galvanizing facility is deemed to be the very first modern cold-rolling steel-strip production line which is independently designed, manufactured and integrated by a domestic engineering company. The independent design and manufacturing ratios are respectively rated as 95% and 98%. The technical level of the facility has been proved to rank the first place in the domestic industry, marking a new achievements of independent innovation in the iron & steel industry of China.
