Students of Nursing College Reported on Their Visit in the USA

A meeting was held recently in Nursing College in which eight nursing students who had had a 15-day visit in America gave a report on their study and life there to the leaders, teachers and students of Nursing College.
The students recalled their unforgettable 15 days??? experiences in MSU Nursing College where they visited many places such as the hospitals, healthcare centers, etc. They introduced to the audience some new conceptions of nursing they learned there. They also compared the educational system and teaching methods in nursing in China and America and aired their opinions about the differences. Finally they conveyed the greetings of the teachers and students of MSU Nursing College.
The report met warm welcome and heated discussion from the audience. Teachers and students at the meeting said that they got useful information to improve their teaching and learning. The climax came during the discussion when it came to the reform of the teaching methods in Nursing College. The overall conception in America and the realistic one in China were discussed in line with our specific conditions. Many teachers shared their own experiences in applying the conception. Everyone at the meeting felt that they benefited from the discussion in one way or another.
