Good news came from the Die Pruefung fuer Grund Germanistikstudium PGG Center recently.

All of the 20 third-year-students from German Department of the School of the Foreign Languages passed PGG held on June 12. In addition, the average grade of these 20 students is as high as 74.15, with the rate of goodness achieving 75%, a further increase as compared with last year.

4,245 students from 73 colleges nationwide participated in this year s test, with 66.17% of the passing rate , 62.68 the average grade and 29.2% above good level.

These 20 students outclassed the national average rate in terms of the passing rate, average grade and the average rate of goodness, which is the best result since the establishment of the German Department three years ago, indicating our steady improvement of German teaching quality and maintenance of a higher standard in the major of German.

In addition, 25 non-German major students all passed this year s DSH test organized by ULM University and HUST. These 25 students took part in this summer s DSH training courses organized by the German Department, and 7 of them achieved excellence in the test.
