The International Basic and Clinical Research Forum of Anesthesia 2010 was hosted by the teaching and research division of anesthesia of Tongji Medical College in Wuhan on April 16-18.
The forum was attended by 400 experts and scholars in the field. It received 13 knowledge renovation lectures from distinguished experts, and over 160 conference papers.
Prof. Lee A. Fleisher, a member of the American Academy of Sciences, director of Medicine's Department of Anesthesia of the University of Pennsylvania, gave us a stunning speech. Brilliant speeches were also given by Prof. Florian R. Neuvo, director of University of Santo Tomas Hospital, Manila, Philippines, president of International Association of Anesthetists Executive Committee, Prof.
Colin Royse, University of Melbourne, Prof. Huafeng Wei and Prof. Renyu Liu, University of Pennsylvania, Prof. Yu Buwei, Prof. Xue Zhanggang, Prof. Huang Yuguang and Prof. Wu Xinming, Chinese Medical Association of Anesthesia, as well as Prof. Fang Xiangming, Cheung Kong Scholar of the Ministry of Education of China.
The forum had an in-depth discussion on basic and clinical research of anesthesia and the future prospects of anesthesia.
