National Micromouse Maze Competition Held

On 23rd Oct, National Micromouse Maze Competition of Hubei province came to an end inLiangsheng Building of Qiming School, HUST. After a fierce competition, the 4 teams from HUST Electrical & Electronic Technology Innovation Center won the top three and the sixth among the total 14 teams. And these top three teams will participate in the national final on behalf of Hubei Province.

The Micromouse is a tiny intelligent walking robot that consists of Embedded micro controllers, sensors and electrical and mechanical moving parts. During the competition, a micromouse could choose any way in the 16 by 16 maze, with each square 18cm by 18cm, using the corresponding algorithms in order to reach the destination as soon as possible.

It is said that IEEE holds an International Micro Mouse Competition every year. And the competition of Hubei province is hosted by the Electrical & Electronic Technology Innovation Center of HUST Qiming School this year.
