From 30th to 31st Oct, the twelfth annual academic conference of School of Energy and Power Engineering as well as the first Dongfeng Cummins Green Energy & Clean Power young scholars forum was held at HUST. Master and PHD candidates from Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and so on had deep academic communication with students and teachers of HUST.
The academic conference consisted of 4 parts, namely the opening ceremony, thematic report, elite forum and panel discussion. During the Green Energy & Clean Power thematic report, Wu Keqi, Huang Ronghua and Luo Xiaobing, professors from the School of Energy and Power Engineering respectively expressed their views on "quantum mechanics", "world energy situation and the strategic significance of energy saving combustion engine", and "high-power LED packaging and thermal management".
After the conference, the elite forum and panel discussion continued, and the student representatives had detailed reports and communication concerning recent discovery results. All students mentioned that they had a better understanding of their fields, expanded their horizons, and got to know more friends through the young scholars forum.
