On 30th Oct., the first Council meeting of HUST Education Development Foundation was held in HUST.
In the meeting, Lu Gang, chairman of the University board, unveiled the plaque of and gave speech for the Foundation. Then, Lin Pinghua, executive vice president, gave a report about the preparations for the foundation. Representatives from departments, offices, affiliate Union Hospital, Tongji Hospital, Liyuan Hospital, Tongji Medical College and related offices, together with 200 student representatives, attended the meeting.
In the meeting, attendees also examined and approved the foundation regulations. Meanwhile, Lin Pinghua was selected as president of the foundation. And, Li Huashen was selected general secretary.
