In the past few days, winners of the 24th Eastern China Excellent Philosophy and Social Science Publishing were unveiled. He Xuefeng, professor in China s Rural Area Governance Research Center from the Department of Social Science in HUST, won the first prize as the chief editor of the Empirical Study Series on China s Village Governance Model.
This publishing is published in 2009 by Shandong People s Publishing House, involving all-round surveys about 15 villages from 11 agricultural provinces, which has a substantial coverage of rural governance research. There are 16 volumes in the series, and most of the authors are researchers in China s Rural Area Governance Research Center.
