Famous Swiss Designer Mr. Aurel Aebi Visited Jiangnan University

From March 21 to 23, the famous Swiss designer Mr. Aurel Aebi paid a visit to Jiangnan University. During the visit, he held a workshop for undergraduates majoring in design on the theme of Thinking with your hands (learning through doing) . The specific content of the workshop is to require the students to design a pen with a certain mechanical structure and finish a usable sample. On the afternoon of March 23, a works show of the workshop was held in the third floor corridor of School of Design. On the evening of March 22, Mr. Aurel Aebi gave the design majors a lecture on the topic of Creative Process of Atelier O , introducing the work procedure of the company where he works, the method of creating new ideas and how to develop the original ideas and the primitive materials into the final products and projects. The content of the lecture involves brand design, interior design, architectural design, etc. Atelier O is a well-known Swiss design studio with 30 designers, mainly engaging in architectural, interior, landscape, product and visual design. Mr. Aurel Aebi is one of the partners and founders of this studio. He has been in the line of design for over twenty years, with dozens of works sold on the market.
